Description
The Magpul CTR (Compact/Type Restricted) Mil-Spec stock is a drop-in replacement buttstock for AR-15 and M16 carbines that use Mil-Spec size receiver extension tubes. It fits tubes from makers such as Colt, Armalite, S&W and LMT. The receiver extension tube is not included.
The streamlined A-frame shape is made not to snag, and the release latch is shielded so it will not be hit by accident. A supplemental friction lock cuts down on stock wobble, and an extra-power lock mechanism with a chrome-silicon spring is there to keep the stock from collapsing on its own. The sloping cheek weld gives you a wide, comfortable contact surface. A removable 0.30 inch rubber butt-pad grips the shoulder, even over body armor or gear.
For slings and storage, there is an ambidextrous push-button QD socket on the rear, 1.25 inch sling loops on the rear and bottom, a lanyard hole at the toe, and a storage compartment in the tail. It works with Magpul ASAP receiver-mount sling attachments, and Magpul CTR cheek risers are available. Choose black or FDE. Made in the USA.
